Basic Guides in Replacing a Bathroom Faucet:
1. Turn off the main water supply first to the sink and the stop valves which are beneath the sink. Make sure that the water is all of the way off.
2. Detach the water line from the faucet and remove it from the drain stopper connection.
3. Slowly remove the faucet from the sink and make sure that you use a basin wrench when you to do that and slowly lift the faucet off of the sink.
4. Now install the faucet in the sink by inserting it into the hole of the sink. Tighten the screws and washers properly. Don't forget to use a wrench to do that.
5. Connect the water lines to the newly installed faucet and apply some plumbers tape onto the drain flange of the faucet before opening the main water supply.
